About Clearguard Pty Ltd

Clearguard Pty Ltd (ABN 44 098 627 653) is located in Fremantle, Western Australia, 25 kms (15 miles) from Perth, capital of Western Australia. Clearguard's Mission Statement sets out it's vision and objectives.

Clearguard Pty Ltd is owned and managed by Carl Pettersson and Hans Sauer who have a combined 50 years experience in process applications and field instrument engineering.

Having experienced first hand the risk, frustrations and inefficiencies associated with blocked process tapping points, Carl embarked on a mission to solve this age old problem (see Evolution of Clearguard^Ž for more details).

In 2000, international patent attorneys conducted a worldwide search to determine if a product to keep Process Tapping Points clean existed. Following the international search, a patent application in Australia (PR 1258) was filed and an application to register Clearguard^Ž as a trademark was made.

Field tests in barometric and pressure vessel applications began in 2000.

After 12 months of successful alpha field testing, an application to the World Intellectual Property Organisation for worldwide patent protection was made. A further international search was conducted and PCT application number PCT/AU01/01425 was filed. In 2002 patent protection in the United States of America was also filed (U.S. serial number 10/110,488).

Clearguard^Ž is now being sourced for applications throughout the world. Additional beta test sites are trialling units in a variety of applications.

Confirmation that the design meets the criteria of the AS1210 Australian Boiler and Pressure Vessel code has been made.
